This Business Listing Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Elgin Senior Solutions, a non-profit organization (“Directory,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), and the business or organization submitting a listing (“Business,” “you,” or “your”).
By submitting or maintaining a listing on http://www.elginseniors.com (the “Website”), you agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
1. Purpose of the Directory
The Website operates as an informational directory designed to help seniors, caregivers, and families locate services and resources in their communities.
Listings may include, but are not limited to:
- Senior living communities
- Home care providers
- Hospice services
- Healthcare providers
- Senior support services
- Community organizations
The Directory serves as a platform for informational listings only and does not guarantee referrals, leads, or business results.
2. Eligibility for Listings
To be listed in the Directory, businesses must:
- Operate legally within their jurisdiction
- Provide services relevant to seniors or older adults
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Maintain any required licenses or certifications for their industry
We reserve the right to approve, deny, or remove listings at our sole discretion.
3. Listing Information
Businesses are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all listing information, including but not limited to:
- Business name
- Address or service area
- Phone number
- Email address
- Website links
- Service descriptions
- Certifications or licenses
- Images or logos
By submitting a listing, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and not misleading.
4. License to Use Submitted Content
By submitting listing information, images, logos, or other materials, the Business grants Elgin Senior Solutions a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to:
- Display listing information on the Website
- Promote listings through marketing or outreach
- Share directory information through digital or printed materials
The Business represents that it owns or has permission to use all submitted content.
5. Free Listings
The Directory may allow businesses to submit basic listings at no cost.
Free listings may include:
- Business name
- Basic contact information
- Short description

The Directory reserves the right to limit features or visibility for free listings.
6. Featured or Paid Listings (if applicable)
The Directory may offer paid or sponsored listing enhancements, such as:

- Promotional exposure
Participation in paid listing options:
- Does not constitute endorsement by the Directory
- Does not guarantee referrals or business results
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
7. Business Responsibilities
Businesses listed in the Directory agree to:
- Provide honest and accurate information
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications
- Conduct business in a lawful and ethical manner
- Respond appropriately to inquiries from potential clients
Businesses are solely responsible for services provided to clients who discover them through the Directory.
8. Prohibited Content
Businesses may not include content in listings that:
- Contains false or misleading claims
- Violates intellectual property rights
- Promotes illegal services
- Contains offensive, discriminatory, or harmful material
- Misrepresents qualifications, licenses, or credentials
The Directory reserves the right to edit or remove prohibited content.
9. No Endorsement
A listing in the Directory does not imply endorsement, certification, or recommendation by Elgin Senior Solutions.
Users of the Website are encouraged to independently research and verify services before engaging with any business.
10. Reviews and Public Feedback (if applicable)
If the Website allows reviews or ratings:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elgin Senior Solutions, its board members, volunteers, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

- Loss of revenue or profits

13. Indemnification
Businesses agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elgin Senior Solutions, its board members, volunteers, staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses resulting from:
- Inaccurate listing information
- Misrepresentation of services
- Violation of laws or regulations
- Services provided by the Business
14. Termination of Listings
The Directory reserves the right to remove or suspend listings at any time if a business:
- Violates this Agreement
- Provides false or misleading information
- Engages in unethical or unlawful practices
- Misuses the platform
Businesses may also request removal of their listing at any time.
15. Modification of the Directory
The Directory may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Website at any time without prior notice.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal disputes shall be resolved within the appropriate courts of Illinois.
