Elgin Senior Solutions is a non-profit organization based in Elgin, Illinois that provides business listings, resource guides, support services, and other information for older adults in the local community. Founded in 2025 and incorporated in 2026 by President Samuel Olson, Elgin Senior Solutions’ mission strives to empower older adults by connecting them with the resources, support, and community they need to thrive. We work to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and ensure that every senior in our community has access to compassionate guidance, meaningful programs, and reliable services. Our organization is run entirely by volunteers and relies on the contributions of our members and community partners to ensure our information us always up to date and serving the need of our users.
Our organization is operated by an Executive Board consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. We also invite local businesses and other organizations to serve as Advisory Board Members, using their expertise in various industries to ensure our organization is effective and evolving.
Our goal is to grow this organization into a useful, meaningful tool for seniors and their families. We aim to continue to expand our database to cover endless areas of need, while providing expert-centered resource guides and information. While our database exists solely online as of right now, our goal is to expand to mobile apps in the future. We also look forward to inviting professionals in a variety of industries to participate in authoring articles, guest appearances in podcasts and video discussions, and leading presentations and seminars.
